Is There Any Place in Knox County Where They Are Not Talking About The High School Rezoning Plan?

I do not know. It came up this morning in a sermon point by my Pastor, Dr. Doug Sager of First Baptist Concord.

He was preaching from Luke 12: 13-34 and Covetousness. In the passing point, he remarked that he couldn’t help seeing the comments in the paper about the school rezoning and that many of the comments were about property values and how it will affect individuals ability to make more money on the re-sale of their house. He remarked that it should be about the quality of education, what is best for the kids. Not about the me and how it will affect the financial windfall.

He is right and all God’s people should say Amen. If you would like to listen to the sermon, go to this link and listen online, it is currently not posted on the video archive section but is available in the archived audio section. Just scroll to 4-22-07 “Beware of Covetousness” Luke 12:13-34 and listen.
