He launches into an attack on Diana Harshbarger, one of the ladies in the crowded Republican First District United States Congressional Race, not really attacking the candidate but her husband. After attacking the Harshbarger’s he mentioned she is self funding her campaign and concludes that the voters have a right to know the finances of the top 7 candidates. BUT HE FAILS TO REPORT THE OTHER SIX.

Then as he writes about Lakenya Middlebrook taking over the Knoxville Police Advisory and Review Committee. Ashe also notes Lakenya’s dad is Rev. Harold Middlebrook, longtime Civil Rights pioneer. Ashe also notes the support of Middlebrook for Republican Gina Oster’s opponent when her opponent was a failed Knoxville Mayoral candidate last year. Yet another Democrat for Republican Oster’s opponent.
