This morning, Knox County Democrats long drought appeared to be over. No National Presidential candidate has visited Knoxville since 2004. However a few weeks ago, Mike Bloomberg was in town to open a Headquarters (#TheMegaBullhornofTruth covered it) and this morning, Amy Klobuchar held a 9 a.m. rally at the Knoxville Hilton.

Jay Clark, a Democrat candidate for TN State House in Blount County’s Eighth District introduced Klobuchar. Clark ran two years ago, but he is going to challenge the Republican incumbent again. Clark is a Professor at Maryville College.
