Jenkins Road Community Meeting Today by Oster and Junior Commissioner Shelton

This afternoon, Knox County Third District Commissioner Gina Oster hosted a meeting at Grace Lutheran Church on Middlebrook Pike. Also attending the meeting was Third District Junior Commissioner Dain Shelton.

This was a second and followup meeting concerning a proposed residential development by Developer David Cheban and his Engineer David Harbin.

Cheban and Harbin presented two options both with 7 units plus the existing one house on the property.

Commissioner Oster talked about getting a STOP sign, a flashing speed light, in addition to a sidewalk along Jenkins Road. A citizen suggested a painted center line down Jenkins Road being helpful as well. Commissioner Oster pledged to work on that.
