Last night the Knox County Republican Precinct Chairs met at the office of a weekly throw away newspaper. The discussion came up about renaming the Lincoln Day Dinner to the Reagan Day Dinner. There was a discussion passionately for renaming it and just as passionately to keep the name.

As a compromise, it was suggested that the Tennessee Conservative Union (TCU) no longer conducts a Reagan Day Dinner. So, why not pursue two dinners a Lincoln Day Dinner in the Winter and a Reagan Day Dinner in the fall.
