In July, Knox County Commission approved a $1.5 Million loan for Knox County Circuit Court Clerk Charles Susano.

Yesterday at the Knox County Commission Finance Committee meeting, Commissioner Carson Dailey asked Finance Director Chris Caldwell if Charlie had drawn on the loan yet. Caldwell reported that on October 7, he had drawn $76,000.

When the Knox County Commission had the Work Session last night, at Large Commissioner Justin Biggs asked Caldwell the same question. Caldwell provided the same answer.

Biggs had missed the Finance Committee meeting due to the TN Technology Corridor Committee that he serves on and has recently become the Vice Chairman of the Committee, so his attendance at that committee was necessary.
