Knox County Commission (late add) to Overhaul BZA Use on Review

When Knox County Commission meets tonight in work session there is a late addition to next weeks Commission agenda from Commissioner Randy Smith and County Mayor Glenn Jacobs that appears will overhaul the BZA’s use on review appeals. Here is the Resolution.

On Friday May 13, 2022 in a sun-shined meeting Commissioners John Schoonmaker and Carson Dailey discussed this, here is their discussion.

It appears that now to appeal a decision, if this passes, it will replace a $200 filing fee and 30 days to costing thousands of dollars and an undetermined amount of time to get through the court system.
