Mr. Davis is a Republican Primary candidate on May 3, 2022 and Ms. Keith is a Democrat Primary candidate on May 3, 2022. Mr. King when asked said he had not decided if he would run for election. Ms. O’Rear hasn’t given much thought to the election was the summation I believe was her answer.

Mr. Davis and Ms. Keith were nominated and Mr. Davis was nominated in a vote of 9 commissioners and Ms. Keith received 2 votes. It was a party line vote with the 9 Republican commissioners for Davis and the 2 Democrat Commissioners favoring Keith. Mr. Davis was then appointed in a 11-0 vote.
