This from local politico reporter Betty Bean. Jim Gray the Knox County Democrat Chairman has recognized “The Right” and is advocating that local downtown Democrats vote “the right way” by voting Republican.

The funny thing about this story is that Gray has publically criticized his own Democrat officeholders for the same offense. The story, the whole story and nothing but the story is reported in the Powell News,otherwise known as the Thursday edition of the Halls News.

I hope that the Democrats and all good citizens of Knox County are smart enough to vote Republican without Gray’s endorsement and will study and vote for the best candidate. The days of backroom deals where the “party boss” annoints a candidate and then informs the mindless troops who and how to vote is over. I encourage Jim Gray to enter the 21st century
