A reliable Brian’s Blog source has informed us that Clifford Tucker, the former State of Tennessee Comptroller employee that was previously announced to be joining the Knox County Mayor’s office. In his role with the State Comptroller’s office he led the 23 counties of East Tennessee.

It appears that the State of Tennessee has informed our source that this press release announcing his employment with the Knox County Mayor’s office was premature. He will NOT be joining the Mayor’s staff now or in the very near future.
