In a vote of 30-29 Sylvia Woods was elected Knox County Democrat Party Chair. Woods Replaces Don Daugherty, who resigned more than a week ago. Will Minter finished second with 29 votes.

Whoever said one vote doesn’t make a difference, never ran for party chair of Knox County’s minority party.
