Mobility Plan 2050 was adopted by the TPO Executive Board at their meeting on Wednesday, April 30. This long-range transportation plan will guide infrastructure investments over the next twenty-five years and allows federal money to be received for them. It is updated every four years to account for changes in community and regional priorities, technology, project costs, and available funding.
“This plan ensures the best decisions are being made for our communities so that we can all get from Point A to Point B safely and efficiently,” said Doug Burton, TPO Coordinator. “Now that the plan has been adopted, these projects can begin to move through the development process.”
The projects were selected and prioritized after consideration of both technical analysis and public input, with a focus on safety, modernization, congestion management, and efficiency. All plan documents and related information, along with the associated Air Quality Conformity Report can be found here.
The interactive map tool created for the public review period will remain available to track progress on the projects included in the plan.
