Mrs. Alice Bratten Taught 5th Grade for 52 Years

Today was the last teaching day for Mrs. Alice Bratten, she has taught 5th grade at Sunnyview/Chilhowee for 52 years. I was in the 5th grade at Sunnyview in the mid 1970’s. I did not have Mrs. Bratten when I was in the 5th.

This year she was recognized for 50 years of being a Girl Scout leader. Her efforts have not ended. She says she will be back next year to volunteer with the Fantasy of Trees effort and with River Ridge camp.
