Yesterday was National Pizza Day and Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs found pizza. First he visited the Snappy Tomato Pizza in County Commission Vice Chair Terry Hill’s district. In Hardin Valley.

Jacobs had challenged Sports Animal 99.1’s Tyler Ivens to a pizza eating contest. Apparently, the Mayor won. I have been unable to confirm that Ivens simply played the role of loser like a wrestling match.

County Commission Vice Chair Terry Hill was present as was County Commissioner at Large Seat 11 Kim Frazier. (Thanks to Frazier for the Snappy Tomato pics) Also, attending was Betsy Henderson of the Knox County School Board.
