Two years ago, a group of citizens and this blog discussed the Rogero rain tax. On November 8, 2011 I was at Sequoyah School precinct with then candidate for Mayor Madeline Rogero and her son. As we talked to voters, I explained the “rain tax” and after I had my say, Rogero informed the voters (2 a man and woman) that she would not propose a “rain tax”.

Was she sincere? If you search “rain tax” on the old platform, like here, you will see lots of information and several you tube videos. Interestingly, in the past two years, two of the videos no longer exist. SHOCKING!
