In Monday’s Commission meeting as the Commissioners were talking and listening to the public on the controversial Hillside/Ridgetop Plan. Commissioner Rex “Tony” Norman a proponent for the government interference into private property owner rights got rather agitated. He launched into a little temper tantrum about a comment that this was over regulation. As his blood pressure was rising, he said that the Watt Road development was a “gang rape”!
Was he discussing the Commissions action on the Watt Road development? If so, as an elected member of the “gang” why didn’t he report it and stop the action? Was he talking about the development itself on the land? As a retired teacher, his descriptor is odd.
