Yesterday during the Co. Commission meeting the Commission passed a Resolution in support of the deannexation law being considered in Nashville this week. Several Commissioners made reference to a letter some of them signed. I requested a copy of the letter and the letter is below. The letter is dated the Friday before the March 21 workshop. The letter is signed by 7 Commissioners, this is a violation of the TN Sunshine law. The letter is a pre-vote for support before an item on the next Commission agenda.

When the Commission voted yesterday the seven signers picked up Commission Vice Chair Bob Thomas. With only Commissioners Sam McKenzie, Amy Broyles and Brad Anders voting NO.
