Cheri Siler is suspending her campaign for County Commission Second District, according to the announcement over on the local liberal blog, KnoxViews. Early last week, I was sent a news story from a source in Florida. I sent an email to Siler seeking clarification. Mrs. Siler never returned a response to me.

This leaves Lauri Kildaire as the only active Democrat in the March 1, 2016 Democrat Primary. If Kildaire is successful, she will face the winner of the March 1, 2016 Republican Primary, either Michelle Carringer or John Fugate in the August General Election.
