Earlier this year, I met Dr. Manny Sethi, a Middle Tennessee Trauma Surgeon as he attended the Knox County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner.

Then Dr. Sethi was exploring a possible run for the U. S. Senate from TN waiting on former Governor Bill Haslam to announce if he (Haslam) was running for U.S. Senate to replace retiring Senator Lamar Alexander.

Haslam had first said a decision was coming in March and then he said April and now here we are on June and Sethi has announced that he (Sethi) is in the race.

Sethi joins Stokes Nielson, Aaron Pettigrew and Glenn Nelson.
