This over at Knoxviews reports that an anonymous source (I hope he can protect his anonymous source, supposedly people file libel suits for a similar reason) forwarded an email that was reportedly obtained through an Open Records Request.
It is an email from the Knox Chamber President Mike Edwards to Dr. James P. McIntyre, Jr regarding reaction to a story in the Shopper News wondering if someone should talk to Publisher Sandra Clark because she had been a positive opinion maker. According to the document, McIntyre responds with he intended to talk to her and that some school board members planned to as well.
Is it a coincidence that Edwards is a member of the State Board of Education appointed by Governor Bill Haslam? Yeah, I am sure there’s nothing to see here. Move along..
