For Duck Dynasty fans, you know Jep Robertson as the youngest son of Phil and Kaye Robertson.  Jep is Mrs. Kaye’s favorite son. Both Jep and Jessica grew up in the same area of Louisana. However, they didn’t meet until after Jessica had a failed marriage and Jep a couple of years of a hard partying life. His brothers, dad and mom held an intervention and Jep turned his life around.

As they met, the courtship was good and then Jessica came clean about her past. After a few days of searching their souls. Jep knew that Jessica was for him and they married. Within 7 months, Jessica became pregnant and over the next several years they had 4 children.

While Jessica came clean about her past. Jep was still holding onto a secret sin and some molestation from when he was very young. Their life has been good and bad. But their faith, family have kept them focused. Their commitment to God and studying his word has been pivotal to their sustained marriage through the good and bad.

Jep had a seizure at a deer camp that hospitalized him for a week and together it confirmed their life together. I would encourage any person or couple that question the God of the second or third chances, to read Jep and Jessica’s stories.
