The meeting notices for members of legislative bodies that meet outside of official meetings is the law. But a couple of notices recently have caused me to think TMI (Too Much Information).

First, this one sent September 9, 2014,

Please note that two Board of Education members may be in attendance (Patti Bounds and John Fugate) each Sunday (9 a.m. to noon, and 6-7 p.m.) and Wednesday (5 to 7 p.m.) at Calvary Baptist Church located at 3200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, 37919.

Please note that Knox County Board of Education member Terry Hill plans to be at the home of fellow school board member Amber Rountree on Monday, Sept. 15 at 3 p.m. to visit Mrs. Rountree’s baby (2604 Fisher Place).
