I worry about the kids that rely on breakfast and lunch at school as their primary meals also the kids that are part of the backpack program. The backpack program sends food home with kids in a backpack for the weekend.

Families without the ability to have nutrious meals is a society problem and kids with hunger should disturb us all. So with no school Tuesday – Friday translates into kids not having a nutrious meal from lunch on Monday until breakfast on Monday.
