REPUBLICAN PRIMARY – State Senator Becky Massey 59.76% over her Republican opponent, on to the Democrat.

DEMOLOSER Primary State Rep. Sam McKenzie 64.88% of the Democrat vote

Knox County General Election

Democrat Damon Rawls 76.19% over his Republican opponent Charles Frazier.

Democrat Courtney Durrett 61.96% over her Republican and Independent opponents.

Democrat Shane Jackson 50.80% or 170 votes over Republican Garrett Holt.

Republican Angela Russell 63.89% over the Democrat opponent.

Republican Commission Chair lady Terry Hill and Sixth District 58.66% over the Democrat opponent.

Republican Adam Thompson 72.17% over his Democrat opponent.

Republican Andy Fox 49.77% over Democrat Matthew Park or 221 votes difference, the Independent Stacey Bryan Smith receieved 252 votes.

Republican Phil Ballard Property Assessor 54.46% or 4,952 votes from his Democrat opponent Drew Harper.

Republican Knox County Law Director David Buuck 55.26% over his perennial Democrat/Independent opponent

School Board (still 5 Republicans and 4 Demlosers)

Second District – Democrat Anne Templeton 50.63% to Independent Incumbent Jennifer Owen (1,320 votes) to Independent Pat Polis finishing third.

Third District – Democrat Pat beating Republican Angie Goethert by 258 votes, with lies by Knox Dem Chair Stuart Hohl and her Republican Primary loser Bob Daspit. (more on that later)

Fifth District – Republican Lauren Morgan finished with 60.47% to some “move around” Democrat. Twenty years later the Fifth District has excellent representation.

Eighth District – Republican Travis Wright retains the job with 4,803 votes

Town of Farragut

Ward One – Alex Cain bested Jeff Devlin with 60.47%

Ward Two – Drew Burnette re-elected with 57.21% over an opponent.

Retain and Replace

Supreme Court Knoxville’s Dwight Tarwater retained with 72.06%

Court of Criminal Appeals Wilson retained with 72.18%
