This story from The Daily Beast details a story out of Seymour, IN where a “gay bashing” preacher is alleged to have attempted to force himself on a young man. Fortunately, according to the report, the young man being a possessor of a gun carry permit and the preacher being confronted with a hand gun is the only thing that caused the preacher to leave the young man alone. The young man got the license plate and the preacher was apprehended and briefly detained.
