Valliant Joins Knox County Merit Board for Knox Sheriffs Employees

in what ultimately became a party line vote, John Valliant will be joining the Knox County Merit Board for Knox Sheriffs Employees. He got 6 votes, three Republican members cast votes for Denny Ford. After Valliant got the majority, then Commissioners Richie Beeler, Carson Dailey and John Schoonmaker abandoned their votes for Denny Ford, switching to Valliant to make 9 votes.

Commission Chair Courtney Durrett and Commissioner Dr. Dasha Lundy voted for Knoxville Attorney Sarah Keith.
