Republican Knox County Mayor nominee Betsy Henderson is officially back on #TheMegaBullhornofTruth as the 2026 General Election campaign begins.
The Henderson campaign was a sponsor of #TheMegaBullhornofTruth throughout March and April and continued through May 5, 2026, the date of the Republican Primary Election where Henderson secured the Republican nomination for Knox County Mayor.
Now, with the primary behind her, the focus shifts toward the August 6 General Election as Knox County voters prepare to choose their next county mayor.
Early voting begins July 17 and continues through August 1, giving voters across Knox County the opportunity to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day.
The race for Knox County Mayor will be one of the most closely watched local elections in East Tennessee, with issues including growth, infrastructure, schools, public safety, taxes, and responsible government spending expected to dominate the conversation over the coming months.
