Today is June 1st in about six weeks Early Voting will begin (July 12th) and conclude on July 27 in preparation for the Knox County General Election on Thursday August 1. Join me in welcoming Lauren Morgan, Republican candidate for Knox County School Board Fifth District to the website. The incumbent Susan Horn opted not to run for re-election, she is supporting Morgan.

If you live, own and are registered to vote at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Faith Lutheran in Farragut, Farragut Middle, Farragut High and West Valley Middle School you are in the Fifth District.

Morgan is a wife, mother of three and has spent a considerable amount of time as a parent volunteer in the schools of her and Tommy’s three children.

Morgan won the March 5, 2024 Republican Primary and now faces a Democrat challenger on August 1. Here is the link to the podcast with her from the Primary Election, there will be another one before July 12.
