There was a political breakfast down in Monroe County today. A source tells me that Doyle Arp is campaigning for State Representative to replace Jimmy Matlock as Matlock has begun a campaign for the Second District of TN seat currently held by U.S. Congressman John J Duncan, Jr.

Arp joins Lenoir City Mayor Tony R Aikens and my source was also told that Lowell Russell has named a Treasurer for a campaign. So there appear to be 3 Candidates so far.
