Will Commissioner Jay Attempt to Silence the Public Again?

Last night, Jesse Mayshark of Compass Knox posted on Facebook that Knox County Commissioner Larsen Jay is moving the December 14 & 21 Knox County Commission meeting to ZOOM streaming.

What will become of Public Forum?

 

Knoxville City Council, Knox County Board of Health have streaming public forum. Will he try and move public forum to only emails? He has already tried to adjourn a meeting by himself so as to NOT hear from the public.

I support the First Amendment whether I agree with what the Public is saying or not. They have the right to say it. Citizens who are blind can not read public forum via email. There is a deaf interpreter on the zoom streaming so that everyone can know what the Public is saying.

Will Jay let the Public speak?
