Sources indicate that the uniformed forces of the Knox County Sheriffs Office (patrol and corrections) are perusing additional options, now that the Knox County Commission is a week away from reorganizing and restructuring the Merit System Office for Sheriffs Employees.

Could the International Brotherhood of Police Officers, International Brotherhood of Correctional Officers (entities of the National Association of Government Employees NAGE) be in the future of the uniformed bodies?
