Last night, was the last scheduled Knox County Commission meeting for Commissioners Brad Anders, Evelyn Gill, Michele Carringer and Hugh Nystrom.

Anders having served more than a decade representing the Sixth District of Northwest Knox County. He will be replaced on September 1 by School Board Member Terry Hill.

Gill who is completing one four year term served the First District of East Knoxville. She will be replaced on September 1 by Dr. Dasha Lundy.

Carringer who is completing one four year term served the Second District of North Knoxville. She will be replaced on September 1 by Courtney Durrett.

Nystrom who is completing one four year term served the Fourth District of West Knoxville. He served as Chairman of the Commission for two years. He will be replaced by Business Entrepreneur Kyle Ward.
