So all us media folk got a notice that Fifth District County Commissioner John Schoonmaker is gonna sit down in the Commission Board Room to Review the Commission Agenda. It says so it can be done in a casual setting.

Not very casual for ”the public” as we have to park at least a block away and pass through security akin to TSA at the airport.

Schoonmaker has done these in the past One at Bower Field with Carson Dailey very casual until the public and then Commissioner-Elect Kim Frazier and I showed up. He has also been known to meet Dailey at So Kno Market. Schoonmaker has also met Commissioner Larsen Jay at Sami’s Cafe very casual until citizens Mike Mitchell, Dan Andrews and I showed up.

What has changed? Six female majority and Madam Chair Courtney Durrett.

I would encourage “citizens” to go through the pain and discomfort to casually sit among Schoonmaker and other Commissioners and listen to their review of this agenda.

Now remember, you can’t ask or participate in the review. because it is Schoonmaker and the Commissioners time, not yours. its just a good relatively cheap show for you. if you will record it, you can get jewels like Dailey saying we don’t have to have public forum.
