Knox County Elections 101 – In preparation for the City of Knoxville elections in 2023, the Knox County Election Commission is conducting a seminar for individuals considering running for office, people interested in being a poll worker, and interested voters.

Specific topics include: types of elections; methods of voting; what candidates need to know before they run for office; the important role that poll workers play in conducting elections, and much more.

There is no cost to attend, but attendees must pre-register. Attendees must be a registered voter in Knox County, and preference will be given to individuals interested in running for office or serving as an election official.

WHEN: Saturday, March 4 from 9 am until 12:30 pm

WHERE: Downtown West Early Voting/Training facility located at 1645 Downtown West Blvd. in Knoxville
