January 2015 was a rough month for losses. My own Momma went home to Heaven on the 9th, several friends parents and brothers made the journey to Heaven. Now, I learn that local Author Samdra Lea passed away on January 31, 2015.

Lea who authored Whirlwind, the Butcher banking scandal. If I recall correctly, she had several  works in progress a Whirlwind sequel, a project called “The Great Pretenders” detailing political corruption in Knox County and a project called “Rogue Lawyers” the perversion of the American Judicial System.

I was told that Ms. Lea was 72, she has a sister in Virginia with no immediate family here. She passed away in her sleep possibly from influenza. She had no obituary. It is so sad to here of her passing. The best of our thoughts and prayers to Ms. Lea’s sister and her readers that her voice through the printed word has been silenced.
