Ballot Withdrawals, March 4th the State Will Inform If Any Candidates Must Be Removed from their Parties Ballots

Last Thursday, February 24th at Noon candidates that wished to withdraw could. The State of TN has until March 4th to notify the local election commissions if any candidates do not qualify from their respective party’s executive committee. 

In Knox County Democrat Anthony Cespedes, County Commission District 3 withdrew. 

In Loudon County – I am unaware of any withdrawals. 

In Blount County, Steven Kelly County Commissioner District 7 withdrew. 

In Sevier County, – NO candidate withdrew.
