‘bidding war’ Where is the Proof?

This story from WBIR on March 6, 2023 (a week ago) ‘correctional officers’ in a bidding war? Where are they going? Not to other correctional facilities. None of the other law enforcement agencies are getting the Knox County officers. They may go to private companies in Oak Ridge, but the county can not bid competitively on those.

Where are the exit interviews by the Knox County Sheriff’s HR department, to show there is a competing war? I have open record requested one resignation letter and may request a second one.

I am hoping that Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs and ultimately the Knox County Commission digs deep on this during the budget process.
