Today the Big Metal Shed on the Hill editorialized against the position of the joint education committee that have admitted and opined that the creation of the joint education committee was to circumvent the open meetings law aka Sunshine Law.

The Editorial Board needs to remember when deciding endorsements for future election cycles that School Boarders Karen Carson, Gloria Deathridge, Lynne Fugate, Doug Harris and Commissioners Amy Broyles, Sam McKenzie and David Wright are advocating circumventing the law. In 2014, Fugate and Deathridge are up for re-election.
