The news of Bill Baxter’s passing is a tough one. I haven’t had any contact with Bill for 14 years. In 2010 when i stood with Zach Wamp for Governor. i did not stand alone.

Baxter was the Finance Chairman for the Wamp campaign. When the campaign was over many friendships remained even through today.

This evening i went back into the blog to see what I had written knowing there were some posts from 2010. There was this one about Baxter from his TVA Board vote within the first 45 days of this blog on September 23, 2004.
