You remember Phil Ballard that served 8 years in the Knox County Property Assessor’s Office? You remember last Spring during the Republican Primary when it was revealed that Ballard was under some investigation by one or more of three letter agencies? You remember when the only spokesman for Ballard was Criminal Defense Attorney Don Bosch?

Well today William Ballard filed a Treasurer form for Register of Deeds naming Chuck Ward of 8715 Martin Mill Pike as his Treasurer.

This is the same Chuck Ward that according to his address was a candidate for Knox County Commission from Ninth District in 2008, with January and February 2010 Campaign Financial documents on the KnoxVotes website.

Also the same Chuck Ward who on Thursday April 25, 2013 was arrested for committing the offense of patronizing prostitution (within 100 feet of church or 1.5 miles of a school) I have the details of the incident, but am choosing NOT to publish them. It does appear that he agreed to pay a $250 fine and stayed out of trouble for six months it was dismissed.
