In this story (if you can afford to jump the paywall) County Mayor Tim Burchett has kow towed to the Sentinel in saying that he is pushing for a vote at the next E-911 board meeting. The Sentinel reports that a motion failed, the motion DID NOT FAIL. A motion was NEVER on the floor to discuss. The Mayor’s lackie (I mean proxy) made a motion and no one seconded it. it could NOT be discussed as it would have not been in order through parliamentary procedure.

When will the News Sentinel report that their PR Firm is the same PR Firm that one of the proposers has hired? So, is the Mayor now on the hook with the proposer? This gets more and more interesting. Stay Tuned.
