Cameron Brooks, the head of the Knox County Democrat Party said he would run Democrat candidates for all positions. Well, today at NOON was the filing deadline for State Representative 14th district and only two candidates have submitted paperwork for the Republican nomination, not one Democrat.  Brooks must have searched the district over and poof he found NONE or maybe he did. You see, one candidate 11 year school boarder Karen Carson (who voted in a Democrat Primary in 2004) will oppose small businessman Jason Zachary. So, maybe the Democrat is running as a trojan horse in the Republican primary, trying to get a Democrat in the Republican big tent.

If you didn’t like the one term (two years) of Democrat State Rep Gloria Johnson, you will dislike her clone Karen Carson! So, let’s get the race started and by the way, we have City of Knoxville races to cover as well.
