Campen is a native Knoxvillian, married to wife Emily. They have two children Parson and Phoebe the family make their home in the Fountain City area of Knoxville. Campen is graduate of UT with a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science and a minor in Forestry. Campen is the Executive Director of the Tennessee chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America. The Izaak Walton League of America addresses conservation issues, specifically water quality, in Knox and surrounding counties. Campen enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, bird-watching and gardening.
