Center City Conservative Republicans Hear from Former Congressman John J. Duncan Jr.; June Meeting Preview Offered

The Center City Conservatives Republican Club hosted former Congressman John J. Duncan Jr. at its May meeting last Thursday night. May 28. As is often the case when Congressman Duncan speaks, attendees were treated to stories from his years in public service, reflections on his time in Congress, and observations on current events and politics. His presentation can be viewed here.

The meeting also provided a preview of the club’s June 25 gathering. Mike Davis, husband of State Representative Elaine Davis, attended the meeting on behalf of his wife. In addition, Brent Jones and Elliott Schuchardt were present and each offered brief remarks to those in attendance. The next meeting of the Center City Conservatives Republican Club will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Marble City Baptist Church, 2740 Sutherland Avenue in Knoxville.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive around 6:00 p.m. to enjoy snacks, fellowship, and conversation before the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
