In addition, Elizabeth Malone Knoxville Youth Program Coordinator with Knoxville Police Department, came to talk to us about Go Big! Knoxville a Mentoring program with KPD and Big Brothers & Big Sisters working together. Check it out here and make a difference in a youths life and they likely will make a difference in yours.

Also, Shawn Hatmaker was visiting our club and as he is a Research Analyst for TN Speaker of the House Glenn Casada I asked him to give the club a brief update from the Capitol. He talked about the Education Savings Account passing the House Education Committee and the TN Heartbeat Bill that waits for the State Senate action.
