On August 13, 2025, yesterday, the local daily newspaper finally published the financial disclosures of City Council candidates, a full week after Early Voting began on August 6. The delay in reporting critical financial information raises questions about transparency in the electoral process, leaving voters with limited time to make informed decisions.
The article, penned by a reporter with a documented history of voting Democrat, appeared to cast a biased light on the three Republican candidates. This spin risks skewing public perception at a pivotal moment in the election cycle.
In contrast, TheMegaBullhornofTruth broke the story on July 15, here, delivering a comprehensive and unbiased report of the candidates’ financial disclosures.Â
The daily paper appears to be driven by the liberal leanings of Joel, Tyler, and Alley. To a reasonable man the trio are attempting to turn our Red (Conservative) community to the liberal state of Blue.
This situation highlights a broader issue: the influence of media bias in local elections. As voters, we deserve timely, objective information to guide our choices, not narratives shaped to flip the political leanings of our community from conservative to liberal. Stay informed, and seek out sources that prioritize facts over spin.
