Sometime after 5 p.m. today, September 20, 2026, Commissioner Shane Jackson posted THIS on the County Commission online forum a request to pull item 40 from Consent and that he will abstain from the vote. We posted about it HERE on Friday. Here is what he wrote.

Please remove item #40: R-26-9-901 from consent and move to non-consent. Pinnacle Bank is my employer. Pinnacle Bank is a $130 billion bank with many departments that do specialized services. This is an example. Our Health Insurance Banking department provides debit cards and management of health savings accounts and flexible spending accounts.

I learned that we were involved in this when the item was placed on the agenda. This department does not report to me, nor do I receive any direct financial benefit from this. I was not included in any communication in the bidding process.

I will abstain from this vote.
