My friend “Curly Kim” Isenberg has a new title to her duties in Public Service. This morning she was elected as Madam Chair of the Knox County Historic Zoning Board. She replaces George Ewart, who nominated Isenberg and said in the meeting he had served as Chair for ten years. All members were present with the exception of Anne Haston, who had an excused absence as announced during roll call. Sam Maynard of James White Fort, (always holding down the fort) along with Ewart, Smith, Isenberg and Haston complete the Knox County Historic Zoning Board.
Scott Smith remains as Vice Chair, Smith served an exemplary term on the Knox Planning Commission.
I am on vacation from my day job, but happened to be in the City County Building so was able to observe the meeting. Unbeknownst to me that it would turn Kim into Madam Chair Isenberg.
Congrats to Madam Chair Isenberg!
