Remember back in September 2020, when the Knox County Commission debated the board of health and its powers? Commissioner Justin Biggs asked about what New York had previously done in banning sugary soft drinks. Then Commissioner Kyle Ward asked about the Board of Health banning guns. Knox County Law Director David Buuck said it could happen, due to the verbiage that governed the board.
