Did the Actions on Paul’s Oasis and Billiards and Brews Change Knoxville? Is Enforcement for Some and Not Others?

The third violator of the Board of Health‘s curfew, that was to be the third business to appear before a Beer Board Hearing Officer is Club XYZ in North Knoxville‘s trendy Happy Holler district.

After West Knoxville‘s Paul’s Oasis beer license was suspended for 60 days and Billiards and Brews (also in West Knoxville) beer license was revoked. Club XYZ has pledged to work with the City. Now the City will not pursue a hearing to bring actions against Club XYZ, in North Knoxville.

Is this a West Knoxville -vs- North Knoxville thing? Are rules meant to be enforced on some and not enforced on some others? I will continue watching and let you know, what I see.
